2010 Project Foodie Crest

According to Project Foodie lore, the single-speared emblem was first adopted by Henry I when he became King of England in 1110. Richard I (in 1192) added a second, and then third by the end of his reign in 1199. However it was not until 1710, 600 years after the first crest was established, did we reach the pinnacle 5^th speared steer.

To celebrate the 900^th anniversary of King Henry’s noble food crest, the Project Foodie team has unveiled a new crest for 2010. The team at PF will use this for years to come on awards, medals and other honorable mentions.
